Giacosa Barbaresco Riserva 1990
1990 is one of the few years in which a non-riserva (white label)
and a riserva (red label) non-single-vineyard Barbaresco were produced.
In fact, this 1990 is the only non-single-vineyard Barbaresco Riserva produced by Giacosa
since the mid-1960's.
In his review of this wine, Antonio Galloni wrote, According to Bruno Giacosa the 1990
Barbaresco Riserva is a blend of the Santo Stefano and Gallina vineyards, both in Neive.
