Cappellano Barbera Ab Normal VDT 2003

In the 2003 vintage, one batch of Barbera was left on the skins for almost 2 years. The DOC tasting panel refused to approve this wine as a Barbera d'Alba DOC. In their refusal, they stated that the wine was abnormal. Rather than filter or otherwise process the wine, Baldo bottled the wine as a vino da tavola with the name Ab Normal. Only 2800 bottles were made of this wine.
