Giacomo Borgogno Barolo Chinato

The Giacomo Borgogno e Figli Winery has made Barolo Chinato for many decades.

The current edition looks like this:

A previous version looked like this:

A much earlier edition has a more colorful label. Note that this older Barolo Chinato should not be confused with the Chinato Borgogno shown below which has a very similar label, but does not say "Barolo" because it contains 30% Barbera.

I'm not sure exactly when it was made, but these two bottles below look quite old. I have seen it referred to as "Molto Vecchia" (very old).

Here we see two bottles with the more typical Borgogno Barolo capsule. Note that neck label says stravecchia which also means very old, but implies mellow or mature.

Borgogno Chinato

Here we see their "Chinato Borgogno". Note that the word "Barolo" does not appear on the label. The first bottle is older. The others are fairly new. The newer version (since 2013?) contains 70% Nebbiolo and 30% Barbera. I'm not sure about the older version.
