G. Conterno Barolo 1964 Special Label
A rough translation of the bottom of the label is
"This wine from choice Barolo grapes gathered on the hills of Monforte d'Alba,
aged in oak barrels, was bottled for friends of SICPA ITALIANA SpA".
SICPA ITALIANA is a company in San Pietro Mosezzo in Novara
which specializes in security inks.
The drawing used on the label is Pablo Picasso's
Scène bachique au Minotaure, 1933.
