Giuseppe Rinaldi Barolo Brunate Riserva 1985 Special Aeritalia Bottling

This was a special bottling of 200 bottles of the 1985 Brunate Riserva for the Aeritalia Space Systems Group in honor of the presentation of Phase C/D of the Columbus Science Laboratory (part of the International Space Station) to ESA (the European Space Agency).

Note that it was bottled in 1989 which appears on the main label, but the vintage is 1985 which appears on the neck label. On the other hand, Columbus itself wasn't launched until 2008. ;)

There was also a 1986 Brunate Riserva bottled for the Aeritalia Space Systems Group in honor of the validation of Phase C/D of the Columbus Science Laboratory.

There was also a regular bottling of this Barolo Brunate Riserva 1985. As far as I know, it is the same wine.
