- is 77.5% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre, 8.3% Syrah, 3.3% Petite Sirah, and 0.9% Viognier.
- comes from 38% Cumulus Estate, 35% The Third Twin Estate, 23% Eleven Confessions Estate and 4% Bien Nacido.
- was aged about 23 months in 37% new French oak, 57.8% used oak and 5.2% concrete.
- was fermented with 41% whole clusters (mainly Grenache).
- was bottled in July 29, 2020 into 1387 cases of 750s and 600 magnums.
- Ziehharmonika Syrah …
- was originally named
Squeezebox
(another name for an accordion), but was changed to
Ziehharmonika (the German name for an accordion) for a variety of reasons
.
- is 82% Syrah, 6.7% Mourvedre, 5.0% Petite Sirah, 2.3% Grenache, 2.7% Viognier, and 1.3% Muscat.
- is entirely from estate vineyards:
51% The Third Twin, 43% Eleven Confessions, and 6% Cumulus.
- spent about 23 months in 51% new French oak, 46% in used barrels and 3% (whites only) in terracotta.
- was fermented with 14% whole clusters.
- was bottled in August 2020 in 1910 cases of 750s and 600 magnums.
The Grenache came in dark red tissue paper and had a dark red wax capsule.
