Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer
Pale yellow-gold color. Bright nose of tropical fruit. Medium body.
In the mouth, bright peaches and citrus with a hint of sweetness in the finish.

1983 Hermann J. Wiemer Riesling Bunch Select Late Harvest -
USA, New York, Finger Lakes, Seneca Lake
Dark amber color. Lovely botrytis and sweet dried apricot nose.
Complex aged dried apricots in the mouth with some oxidation.
Past its prime, but still alive. My last bottle. 🙁 (93 points)

Perhaps the worst nose I've ever smelled of a wine that wasn't obviously flawed.
Not as horrible in the mouth, but why torture oneself? (66 points)
