Cappellano Barolo 1975 and Single Vineyard 1975 Barolo
As in 1974, some bottles of the
1975 Barolo were identified on the back label as coming from specific vineyards
in Serralunga d'Alba. This was indicated on the back label.
In fact, so far every regular bottling of 1975 Cappellano Barolo with a back label that I have seen
indicates that it comes from Rionda. If you have one that does not, please send it to me.
Back Labels and Single Vineyard 1975 Barolo
Below are various back labels for the 1975 Barolo.
In 1974,
the back labels indicate that these bottles are from Vigna Rionda,
while other bottles have back labels that indicate that these bottles are from
the Baudana vineyard,
and still others indicate only Serralunga d'Alba.

This back label translates from Piedmontese as:
The Cappellano winery [literally: cellar] — faithful to its
tradition and still run by the same family that founded it —
is one of the few listed in the Register of Artisans of the
Province of Cuneo.
This 1975 barolo from Serralunga d'Alba, made as it used
to be a hundred years ago using select grapes from
Sori' Vigna Rionda, has been aged [literally: taken good
care of] for three years. 4363 bottles were left,
labeled by the "Consortium for the Defense of Typical Quality
Wines Barolo and Barbaresco" and numbered from 23,721 to 28,083.

As far as I know, Troglia bottles have no vineyard designation.
