Dinner at La Cantinetta Ristorante
@ Via Roma 33, Barolo, Piedmont, Italy (7/4/2016)
After my wonderful day visiting
Cantina Bartolo Mascarello
and the Giuseppe Rinaldi Winery,
I went back to
La Cantinetta for a simple, relaxing dinner … with no wine.
I had had a
lovely lunch
there earlier in the day between my winery visits.
The food here is quite good. All I could manage at the end of this long, wonderful
day was a pasta dish and a light dessert.
For each image, I have posted a compressed (and possibly cropped) version.

The menu posted outside:
A romantic evening by myself.
Bread and water is a good way to start after a long day.
Meat-stuffed Ravioli “al plin” with butter and sage.
Oh God, this was good.
A local dog stops by for a drink:
Then he stops by my table to ask me to say hi to my dog Sam.
Apparently they are friends on Dogbook.
Bunet (aka Bonet, aka il Bončt): A pudding made with eggs,
sugar, milk, cocoa, rum, and Amaretto cookies as a crust.
Fresh cherries with the check:

The next morning began with a
visit to the Cappellano Winery.
