Spirited Wine Store
in Lenox, MA,
the Vietti Winery,
and Dalla Terra Winery Direct
sponsored this dinner with a broad selection of Vietti recent releases.
The tasting was led by Urs Vetter, the export sales director of the Vietti Winery.
He was quite informative about the history of the winery and the techniques used
in making these wines.
The Barolos were doubled-decanted around 5:30pm. The others were pop and pour.
Dinner started at 6pm and ended around 8:30.
The food provided by Alta Restaurant & Wine Bar was superb and
well-matched to the wines.
Even the bread and butter was excellent.
