1995 White Blend from Alban Vineyard
- This is the first white wine released by SQN.
- A
roughly equal
blend of Roussanne and Chardonnay.
- All grapes grown by John Alban at Alban Vineyards.
- Barrel fermented with 100% malolactic fermentation.
- Barrel aged for nearly 14 months.
- Never fined or filter, this wine was only racked once, just before bottling.
- It was hand bottled at the end of November 1996.
- 180 cases of 750ml bottles. No magnums produced.
- The label is a linoleum cut made by Manfred.
On the menu board (between the heads of the bride and groom), it says
The Wedding of Chardonnay & Roussanne at Sine Qua Non 1995.
